Andrews: Rebecca "Becky" Lynn Davis, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at her home in Lodi, Ohio. She passed peacefully in her sleep after battling a debilitating disease. Becky was born on February 2, 1963, in Georgetown, South Carolina to Phyllis and Delmo Downing of Andrews, South Carolina. She had brothers Stacy and Scotty and sister Wendy. She married James Davis in December 1979 and afterward had a son, Craig and daughter, Kassandra "KC". Becky attended Rosemary Elementary and Middle School then Andrews High School. After her marriage, she lived in Charleston South Carolina, Saratoga Springs New York, Groton Connecticut, and York Maine due to her husband's military career then Perry Ohio and Jackson Tennessee following his retirement. She loved her work as a Phlebotomist and Nursing Assistant in elderly care facilities, hospitals, and Ireland Cancer Center. Becky is survived by her son Craig Davis and his wife Gabrielle and grandsons Hunter, Hayden, and Hudson of Strongsville, Ohio. She is also survived by daughter Kassandra "KC" Deighan and her husband Craig of Eastlake, Ohio as well as her parents Phyllis and Delmo Downing and sister Wendy Martin and her husband James and nephew Cole Martin of Andrews, South Carolina, also nephew Chase Downing of Charlotte, North Carolina. Becky was preceded in death by her brothers Stacy and Scotty Downing of Andrews, South Carolina. Graveside memorial service and interment will be Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Bethel United Methodist Cemetery in Andrews, South Carolina. Officiating the service will be Pastor Becky Tilton of Victory Freewill Baptist Church.
