Pawley's Island:
Regine Petersen Myers, 88, died Friday, June 03, 2005, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach.
Mrs. Myers was born in Nyack, N. Y. on May 2, 1917, a daughter of the late Arthur Petersen and Anna Serafino Petersen Schultz. Her grandfather was Julius Petersen, ship builder and owner of Petersen Boat Yard in Nyack, N. Y. Mrs. Myers graduated from Congers High School in 1933. Mrs. Myers lived most of her life in New Milford, N. J. and was a seasonal resident of Pawley's Island for twenty-five years.
Mrs. Myers was a member of the Senior Scholars, a volunteer at Waccamaw Library, a member of the Great Book Group, and enjoyed many classes at Art Works in Litchfield. She loved her Grandchildren, golf and books. Mrs. Myers was the widow of Gilbert L. Myers.
Surviving are: a daughter Suzanne M. Conklin and her husband Harry of Suffern, N. Y.; a grandson, Christopher Conklin of Suffern, N.Y.; and a granddaughter, Bonnie Conklin of New York City.
Funeral services will be at eleven o'clock Tuesday morning, June 7, 2005, at the graveside in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, N. J.

The family will receive friends at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home Saturday, June 4, 2005, from two until four o'clock and seven until eight o'clock.
