Andrews:
Rhonda Glisson Howard, 63, wife of Homer A. Howard, died Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Tidelands Community Hospice House in Georgetown.
Mrs. Howard was born in Hemingway on November 7, 1952, a daughter of the late James Richard Glisson and Dorothy Mae Feagin Glisson. She lived in Andrews all of her life and graduated from Andrews High School. Mrs. Howard was a member of Bloomingvale Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher, Missions Director, and fund raiser for missions. She was also a speaker for People to People Ministries, a child sponsor, and was very involved in the Church Drama Program. She worked for Oneita Industries and Healthcare Business Resources.
Mrs. Howard was predeceased by: a godson, Bradley Harris, a sister, Sherry G. Evans, and a brother, Steven "Stevie" Allen Glisson, and a nephew, Matthew Renken.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are: a brother, James "Jimmy" P. Glisson (Cindy); a sister, Linda Glisson Renken: a godson, Braden Evans; nieces and nephews, Crystal Glisson Harris, Stacy Glisson Mabery, Stephanie Glisson, Joseph Glisson, Mark Evans, Sean Freeman; great nieces and nephews, Bradley, Madison, Kaden, Stephen, Emily, Tracy, and Hannah.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at three o'clock in Bloomingvale Pentecostal Holiness Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Elmer Lambert. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, February 2, 2016, at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home from six until eight o'clock.
