McClellanville: Richard Harvey Gross, II, 66, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Mr. Gross was born in Baltimore, Md. on April 23, 1944, a son of the late John Richard Gross and Mollie Jeanette Cypull Gross. He grew up in Jarrettsville, Md. and moved to McClellanville in 1988. Mr. Gross was President of Precision Fabrication and Restoration in McClellanville. He was a pilot and a member of EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association), the Stinson Club, NRA (National Rifle Association of America), and AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association). Surviving are: his wife, Patricia L. Gross; a daughter, Tammy Huggins (Dan); a son, J.R. Gross; and two grandchildren, Russell and Molly, all of McClellanville. Memorial services will be on Sunday afternoon, August 29, 2010, at McClellanville United Methodist Church at three o'clock. Officiating will be the Rev. Jimmy Harper.
