McClellanville:
Richard Tillia Morrison, VI, 69, died Friday, January 7, 2005, at the Medical University of S. C. Hospital in Charleston.
Mr. Morrison was born in Charleston on October 17, 1935, a son of the late Richard Tillia Morrison, V and Pearl Bodiford Morrison. He was a graduate of McClellanville High School and attended the University of South Carolina. Mr. Morrison served in the S. C. Air National Guard as a fighter pilot and attained the rank of Captain. He was a retired airline pilot for Pan American World Airways and a member of New Wappetaw Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are: his wife, Anne Haas Morrison of McClellanville; a son, Richard T. Morrison, VII of McClellanville; a brother, Forest B. Morrison of McClellanville; and a sister, Charlotte M. Armstrong of Pinetops, N. C.
Funeral services will be three o'clock Sunday afternoon, January 9, 2005, at the graveside in New Wappetaw Presbyterian Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Walter G. Cook.
