Georgetown:
Richard H. Seitter, 86, died Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at Agape Senior in Conway.
Mr. Seitter was born in Wilmington, N. C. on November 5, 1925, a son of the late Carl Charles Seitter and Wilhelmina Caroline Burrer Seitter. He grew up in Wilmington and was a graduate of New Hanover High School. Mr. Seitter served in the Army during World War II. He was a retired wholesale produce dealer and owned and operated Richard Seitter Wholesale Produce for forty years. Mr. Seitter was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the VFW and American Legion and was a life member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.
Surviving are: his wife Edna Higginbotham Seitter of Georgetown; a daughter, Linda S. Rucker (Robert) of Columbia; a granddaughter, Katelin Rucker of Columbia; a sister, Hilda S. Buck of Wilmington, N. C.; and a brother, Eugene Seitter of Georgetown.
Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Thursday morning, November 17, 2011, at the graveside in Elmwood Cemetery Annex. Officiating will be Pastor Arden Hallman.
