Andrews:
Robert "Bob" B. Clemons, Jr., 76, died Saturday, July 28, 2007, at Tideland Community Hospice House in Georgetown.
Mr. Clemons was born in Andrews on January 27, 1931, a son of the late Robert B. Clemons and Annie Louise Smith Clemons. He lived all of his life in Andrews, where he worked with R. B. Clemons & Sons Wholesale for a number of years and later co-owned and operated Jack's Mini Mall. Mr. Clemons was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Church Choir and the Men's Bible Class and a former member of the church Administrative Board.
Surviving are: his wife, Peggy Landress Clemons of Andrews; a daughter, Jenny (Eddie) Dingle of Andrews; and three sons, Rev. Robert (Phyllis) Clemons of Lake City, Timmy (Teresa) Clemons of Moncks Corner, and Rusty (Debbie) Clemons of Windsor, Penn.; a sister, Emma C. Davis of Andrews; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be four o'clock Tuesday afternoon, July 31, 2007, in Trinity United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Sandra Stevens Poirel. Burial will follow in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home Monday evening, July 30, 2007, from six until eight.
