North Charleston:
Robert O'Quinn Cox, 53, died Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the Medical University of S. C. Hospital in Charleston.
Mr. Cox was born in Georgetown on February 8, 1958. He grew up in the Earle's community of Williamsburg Co. and was a graduate of Andrews Academy. Mr. Cox was an outdoor person and loved hunting and fishing. He had made his home in N. Charleston for a number of years.
Mr. Cox was predeceased by: his father, Carlisle O'Quinn Cox.
Survivors include: his step-mother, Roberta Mixon Cox of Andrews; his mother, Sarah Baker Carson of Kingstree; his step-father, Jim Carson of Kingstree; a half-sister, Leslie Ortez of Texas; and a half-brother, Adam Carson of Kingstree.
Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Wednesday morning, December 7, 2011 at the graveside in Harmony Cemetery near Andrews. Officiating will be the Rev. David Marcy. The family will receive friends at Earle United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall immediately following the funeral services.
