Georgetown: Robert "Bobby" C. Thomas, 38, died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at his residence. Mr. Thomas was born in Georgetown on December 6, 1969, a son of the late James Thomas and Jeanette Oliver Thomas. He grew up in Georgetown and worked was a number of years as a painter. Mr. Thomas was also a musician. He lived in Socastee for a time before returning to Georgetown. Survivors include: his wife, Melissa Thomas; a daughter, Leslie Swails of Georgetown; and two brothers, James "Jimmy" E. Thomas of Memphis, Tenn. and Richard "Ricky" O. Thomas of Bremerton, Wash. Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Thursday morning, March 20, 2008, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Keith Wall.
