Obituary

Pawleys Island: Robert "Bob" Allan Ford, 69, died Friday, June 26, 2015, at the Medical University of S.C. Medical Center in Charleston. Mr. Ford was born in Wadsworth, Ohio on February 27, 1946, a son of the late Arthur Buel Ford, Jr. and Lois Margaret Frase Ford. He was a graduate of Kenmore High School and attended Ohio State University. Mr. Ford lived most of his life in Ohio and West Virginia and was currently living in Pawleys Island. Mr. Ford started in the sheet metal trade and taught sheet metal in the Vocational Dept. in a high school. He worked for a time as a sheet metal coordinator and instructor and retired as Business Agent with Sheet Metal Local 33. Mr. Ford was a member of First Baptist Church in Georgetown. Surviving are: his wife, Judith Kay Norris Ford of Pawleys Island; a son, Mark Allan Ford (Jenny) of Ripley, W.Va.; a daughter, Michelle Lynn McIntyre of Parkersburg, W.VA.; a step-son, Steven Brian Lynn of Surfside Beach; a step-daughter, Jennifer Dawn Lynn of Uniontown, Oh.; a brother, Arthur Dennis Ford of Benton Harbor, Mich.; a sister, Belva Mae Ford Owen of Elmira, N.Y.; eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be one o'clock Monday afternoon, June 29, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Georgetown. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Ted A. Sherrill.
