Pawleys Island:
Robert "Bobby" Cecil Lawrimore, 79, died Sunday, July 8, 2007, at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet.
Mr. Lawrimore was born in Georgetown on March 15, 1928, a son of the late Itly Wilson Lawrimore and Virginia Baxley Lawrimore. He was a graduate of Winyah High School and attended Clemson University. Mr. Lawrimore retired from the S. C. State Ports Authority in Georgetown. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Georgetown and was a former Deacon and Sunday School Teacher of the church.
Predeceasing Mr. Lawrimore include: two granddaughters, Laura Ann Evans and Katherine Ann Crews.
Surviving are: his wife Betty Holmes Lawrimore of Pawleys Island; two daughters, Bobbie L. (Chap) Oliver of Pawleys Island and Cheryl L. (Steve) Crews of Georgetown; a son Charles Wilson (Karen) Lawrimore of Moncks Corner; nine grandchildren, Kelly Evans, Joe Evans, Ryan Oliver, Nicholas Oliver, Kady Oliver, Jenn Crews, Brook Crews, Christopher Lawrimore, and Kayla Lawrimore; and a great-granddaughter, Kyra Ann.
Funeral services will be two o'clock Tuesday afternoon, July 10, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Georgetown. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Ted A. Sherrill and the Rev. Hiram L. McElrath. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens in Georgetown.

The family will receive friends at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home Monday evening, July 9, 2007, from six until eight.
