Robert Wayne Porter, 83, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024, surrounded by family at his home.

He was born April 2, 1941 in Kannapolis,. NC. He was the son of Thomas Ruben Porter and Jessie Mae Porter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Neil Porter and his sister Barbara Venable.

Robert is survived by his wife, Linda of 45 years, sister Patricia Fullam, daughters: Cathy Porter, Jennifer Porter and Robin

(Ron JR) Becerra, sons: Daryl Bresach, Dan (Liz) Bresach and Ryan (Karen) Bresach, 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Porter residence.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Fireside Ministries, PO Box 1099, Georgetown SC. 29442.

The Downtown Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
