Georgetown:
Roberta Howle Rogerson, 87, widow of William Wallie Rogerson died Friday, September 1, 2006, at her residence.
Mrs. Rogerson was born in Sumter on December 23, 1918, daughter of the late Lawrence Keith Howle and Margaret Plowden Howle. She was a lifelong member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church and held various positions of leadership in the church. Along with her husband, Mrs. Rogerson was founder and owner of Georgetown Canada Dry Bottling Co. She retired in 1978. Mrs. Rogerson was a member of Georgetown Garden Club and had been active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.
Surviving are: three sons, Robert William Rogerson of Garden City Beach, Donald Kent Rogerson and his wife Carolyne of Georgetown, and Laurice Keith Rogerson and his wife Linda of Isle of Palms; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be three-thirty o'clock Monday afternoon, September 4, 2006 at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Phillip C. Thrailkill. Inurnment will be private.
