Georgetown

Rochelle Ashley Poston, 37, of Georgetown, passed away at her home on Saturday, January 3, 2026. Born in Florence on October 13, 1988, she was the beloved daughter of Richard Goodman, Sr. and the late Francis Sims Goodman.

Rochelle was preceded in death by her mother, Francis; her grandparents, Ramona and Frank Goodman; and her uncle, Ronnie Grady.

She is survived by her partner, Anthony Ethridge of Georgetown; her father, Richard Goodman, Sr.; her two children, Jeffrey Bryce Poston of Pamplico and Ava Grace Ethridge of Georgetown; her siblings, Amanda (Travis) Powell and Erica (Tony) Goodman-Floyd, both of Florence, and Richard Goodman, Jr. of Pamplico. Her memory will also be cherished by her nieces and nephews, Neal, Brayden, and Jasmine Powell, and Lilly, Anthony, and Tylan Goodman-Floyd, along with two twin nieces or nephews expected to arrive soon. Further survivors include her uncle, Carl (Mamie) Goodman of Melbourne, FL; Jessie Ochs of Pamplico; and a host of cousins and close friends who will remember her as a truly "one of a kind" soul.

A Graveside Funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 9, 2026, in Prosser Cemetery, Big Swamp Rd, Pamplico, SC. The family will recieve friends for an hour before the service.

Funeral arrangements are being conducted by the Maryville Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home and Crematory.
