Georgetown:
Rosa Lee Casselman Fulton, 90, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at her residence.
Mrs. Fulton was born in Andrews on February 12, 1922, a daughter of the late John Louis Casselman and Carrie Ora Belle Perry Casselman. She grew up in the Big Damn Swamp area of Andrews and was a member of Black River Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Fulton was a retired employee of Oneita Knitting Mills and was an avid gardener and enjoyed her yard. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Surviving are: a daughter, Patsy Towne (Willie) of Georgetown; three step-sons, Gene Fulton (Diane), Jerry Fulton, and Roger Fulton (Joanne), all of Andrews; four grandchildren, Rhonda Bearfield (Bob) of Andrews, William Towne, III of Leicester, N.C., Richard Towne (Wendy) of Summerville, and Valerie Morris (Henry) of Charleston; five step-grandchildren, Miriam Fulton of Myrtle Beach, Jay Fulton, John Fulton (Treva), and Brittany Fulton, all of Andrews, and Lee Fulton (Leigh) of Eure, N.C.; six great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fulton was predeceased by: her first husband, Benjamin Franklin Fulton, Jr.; her second husband, Lonnie Eugene Fulton, Sr.; three brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral services will be at eleven o'clock on Wednesday morning, August 1, 2012, at Black River Free Will Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Daniel Carson and the Rev. Billy Miles. Burial will follow in Piney Forest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, July 31, 2012, at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home from six until eight o'clock.
