Georgetown:
Rose Johnson Altman Moore, 70, wife of the late Robert "Bobbie" Prevatte Altman and Leroy Moore, died Monday, June 18, 2018, in Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Moore was born in Georgetown on June 30, 1947, a daughter of the late Liston B. Johnson and Rozine "Boots" Haselden Johnson. She grew up and attended public school in Georgetown. Mrs. Moore was a member of North Hampton Baptist Church and loved and enjoyed going to her church. She loved gardening and fishing. She was a loving sister and a friend to everyone.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Mrs. Moore is predeceased by: a sister, Peggy Lee Gaskin; a brother, James Allen Johnson, and paternal grandmother, Eva "Mammie" Johnson
Surviving are: four sisters, Sara Ann Johnson and Tangie Self (Ralph) both of Georgetown; Francine Johnson (Dixie Moore) of Newark, OH; and Suzette Fowler (David "Red") of Georgetown; two brothers, Billy Joe Johnson (Sheryl) of Conway; and Liston Curtis Johnson (Rita) of Surfside Beach; a number of nieces and nephews; and a very special companion, "Max".
Funeral Services will be at two o'clock Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at North Hampton Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Franklin Lowrimore. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 20, 2018, from one until two o'clock at North Hampton Baptist Church.
