Georgetown: Roy Bell "Ted" Harrelson, Jr., 76, passed away at a local hospital Tuesday morning, October 23, 2012, due to a medical illness. Ted was a fun loving person and always enjoyed interacting with others. He loved to tell stories and always had a smile on his face. Ted will greatly be missed by his family and friends. Ted was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Bell Harrelson and Ruth Sisson Harrelson; and a sister, Carole Jean H. Pascua. He is survived by: his wife of fifty-four years, Alice Cox Harrelson of Georgetown; a daughter, Mandie Jones (John Paul) of N. Myrtle Beach; a son, Roy B. Harrelson, III of N. Myrtle Beach; two granddaughters, Allison Cooper (Kenneth) and Amanda Floyd (Michael), both of Florence; two great-grandsons, Mason Neal and Joseph Ellis, both of Florence; and two sisters, Janette Martin of Surfside and Mary Jane Dingle (Al) of Little Switzerland, N.C.
