Georgetown: Rusty Ray Martin, 48, died Thursday, August 12, 2021, at his residence. Mr. Martin was born in Georgetown on March 26, 1973, a son of Edmond Ray Martin and Donna Rexrode Jones. Mr. Martin grew up in Georgetown and attended Georgetown High School. Rusty had a great love for hunting and fishing. He was a great cook and enjoyed playing jokes and everyone enjoyed this infectious laugh. Rusty was a loving person and will surely be missed. In addition to his parents of Georgetown, Mr. Martin is survived by: a son, Dustin Ray Martin, two sisters, Jade Martin and Brook Blakely (Joey); three favorite people that were as close as a sister or a brother, Sharon Martin (Jimmy) Amanda Martin and Jack Martin; and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be two o'clock Thursday, August19, 2021, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the Funeral Home from one until two o'clock.
