Georgetown:
Sally Zingerman Dube, 83, died Monday, December 15, 2008, at her residence.
Mrs. Dube was born in Radom, Poland on May 4, 1925, the daughter of late Joseph Zingerman and Jenta Hochenbaum Zingerman. She was a survivor of the Holocaust and immigrated to the United States in 1949. Mrs. Dube proudly became an American citizen in 1955. She lived in Lincoln, Ill. for a time, where she and her husband raised their family. Mrs. Dube worked in banking in Illinois and Michigan prior to moving to S. C. to be near her family. She retired as a customer service rep. for Bank of America in Pawleys Island.
Surviving are: a son, Otto (Shelley) Dube of Farmington Hills, Mich.; a daughter, Jana (Paul) Hletko of Georgetown; grandchildren; Annie Dube, Paul (Elizabeth) Hletko, Valerie (Katie Wood) Hletko, and Sarah Hletko (Marc) Donahue; and great-grandchildren, Sofia, Paul Quinn, and Sydney Hletko, Andrew, Elise, and Audrey Donahue, and Sabine Hletko Wood.
Mrs. Dube was predeceased by: a daughter-in-law, Patricia Kaufman Dube.
Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Thursday morning, December 18, 2008, at the graveside in Beth Elohim Cemetery. Officiating will be Bob Schimek.
