Samuel Lucas Clemons, 64, of Andrews, SC died on May, 27,2026 at his home in Andrews.

Born on June 27, 1961 in Georgetown, SC, he was the son of Samuel P. and Delaine Clemons. He was preceded by both parents and a brother Samuel Patrick Clemson, Jr.

He was known by Sammy by all that met him. He graduated Clemson in 1989 with a BS in Parks, Recreation and Tourism. He worked at Food Lion as the Deli manage until 1995. He went to work at Baptist Hospital as unit secretary when our mother was diagnosed with cancer in 1995. After our father died in 1998, he felt the call to go back to school to become a nurse. He worked with cancer patients until 2013. He injured his knee and was no longer able to return to work. Needless, to say he touched a lot of people while caring for their loved ones.

Sammy is survived by his 2 sisters. Deanna Kean (John) and Beth Parmly. He is survived by nieces and nephews. Katie Kean (Michael), Camron Kean, Paige Diaz (Yosvy) and Jackson Parmly. His 2 great nephews, Owen and Tate. Also survived by many cousins and friends, who he dearly loved.

At this time, there will be no memorial. There will be a private family remembrance during our summer vacation where we will spread his ashes at his favorite place, Pawleys Island.
