Georgetown:
Sara Wilson Siau, 87, died Thursday, January 4, 2007, at Prince George Healthcare Center.
Mrs. Siau was born in Burton on August 3, 1919, a daughter of the late Hardwick F. Wilson and Katherine Gray Wilson. She was a graduate of Beaufort High School and Winthrop College. Mrs. Siau was a former owner of Frank L. Siau Insurance Agency. She was a member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church and Prince George Garden Club.
Surviving are: a daughter, Katherine S. Carter and her husband R. Ashley Carter, Sr. of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Liza C. Young and her husband H. Lewis Young, III, Rob Carter, and Katie Doll, all of Georgetown, and Michael Doll, Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; three great-grandchildren, Ashley Young, Doc Young, and Madison Carter; and a special friend, M. P. "Pat" Ferris of Georgetown.
Mrs. Siau was predeceased by: her husband, Herman M. Siau; a daughter, Sara "Candy" S. Doll; a sister, and two brothers.
Funeral services will be two o'clock Sunday afternoon, January 7, 2007, at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Phillip C. Thrailkill. Entombment will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
