Georgetown:
Jane Lippincott Van Osterom, 77, died Wednesday, October 18, 2006, at her residence.
Mrs. Van Osterom was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. on November 27, 1928, the daughter of the late Samuel M. Lippincott and Kathryn Genevieve Neatrour Lippincott. She was a retired registered nurse and was a former school nurse in Bethel Park, Pa. Mrs. Van Osterom was also a former volunteer nurse at Smith Medical Clinic at Baskervill and the emergency room of Georgetown Memorial Hospital. She was a member and Elder of Georgetown Presbyterian Church and also the "Queen Mum" of the Georgetown Chapter of the Red Hat Society.
A Celebration of Life will be held at four o'clock Sunday afternoon, October 29, 2006, at Georgetown Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Stephen H. Wilkins.
Surviving are: her husband, J. George Van Osterom of Georgetown; three sons, George W. Van Osterom of Baltimore, Md., John R. Nicholson and James P. Nicholson, both of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two daughters, Joyce Chamberlain of Tucson, Ariz. and Linda Levy of Palm City, Fla.; a brother, Samuel Lippincott of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and fourteen grandchildren. She was predeceased by: a daughter, Patricia Anne Brown.

The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall of Georgetown Presbyterian Church immediately following the Celebration of Life.
