Sharon Lee Gamble, 75, passed away on July 11, 2026, at Oak Hollow of Georgetown Rehabilitation Center.

Born April 18, 1951, in Pittsburgh, PA and raised in Georgetown, SC, she was the daughter of Charles Lee Gamble and Lucille Creech. She was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, Barbara Jean Gamble.

Sharon was a graduate of Andrews High School. She went on to attend Coastal Carolina University where she graduated with a degree in nursing. She spent twenty years of her life caring for others as a nurse. Her passion for traveling could be seen through the numerous cruises she enjoyed. One of her favorite sources of entertainment was shopping.

Sharon is survived by her son, David Stacey Foxworth; her grandson, River Stacey Foxworth; and her stepsister, Judy Kay Gamble Jones. She also leaves behind two special friends, Nita Howell and David Reddick, whose friendship and support meant so much to her.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Shriners Children’s, P.O. Box 947765, Atlanta, GA 30394.

The Maryville Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
