Georgetown: Sharon Smith Haselden, 26, of the Plantersville Community of Georgetown Co. died Monday, June 12, 2006, at a Birmingham, Ala. Hospital. Sharon was born in St. Joseph, Mich. on July 14, 1979, a daughter of Ronald Lee Smith and Carolyn Rhodes Howard. She grew up in the Plantersville community of Georgetown Co. and lived there most of her life. Sharon was a graduate of Georgetown High School and was currently attending Horry-Georgetown Technical College Nursing Program. She was a helper in the Children's Church of Living Faith Church. Sharon was predeceased by: her maternal grandfather, Clarence Carlton Rhodes; and paternal grandmother, Phyllis Smith. Surviving are: her husband, Casey Flynn Haselden of Georgetown; a son, Anthony Flynn Haselden, age 6; a daughter, Carolyn Rebecca "Becca" Haselden, age 3; her father of Conway; her mother and step-father, Norwood Howard of Plantersville; brothers, Michael L. Smith and his wife Jessica of Murrells Inlet and Scott L. Smith and his wife Erin of Surfside Beach; a sister, Jodi S. Meade and her husband Curt of Indianapolis, Ind.; maternal grandmother, Rebecca L. Rhodes of Macon, Ga.; paternal grandfather, Floyd Smith of Old Towne, Fla.; her mother-in law and father-in-law, Darlene and Andrew "Andy" Ward of Myrtle Beach; maternal step-grandmother, Sylvia W. Rhodes of Murrells Inlet; uncles, Clarence Carlton Rhodes and his wife Suzanne of Myrtle Beach and John Anthony Rhodes and his wife Michelle of Macon, Ga.; and an aunt, Stella R. Jones and her husband Wil of Florence. Memorial services will be at two o'clock Friday, June 16, 2006, at Living Faith Church in Myrtle Beach. Officiating will be the Rev. Howie Russell.
