Andrews: Shirley Powell Connelly, 71, died Sunday, November 4, 2007, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Connelly was born in Andrews on January 12, 1936, a daughter of the late Dallas Powell and Flossie Ethridge Powell. She was a member of Holy Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs. Connelly was the widow of Julius James Connelly. Surviving are: two sons, Phillip Connelly of Vicksburg, Miss. and Kevin Connelly and his wife Pam of Andrews; a daughter, Denise C. Day and her husband Don of New Bern, N.C.; a brother, Ronnie Powell and his wife Kay of Andrews; three sisters, Bertha P. Brannon and her husband Frank of Hardwick, Ga., Gladys P. Cannon of Charlotte, N.C., and Doris P. Marlowe and her husband Edward; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be two o'clock, Wednesday afternoon, November 7, 2007, at Holy Trinity Pentecostal Holiness Church. Officiating will be the Rev. David R. Richardson, the Rev. Murray W.
