Georgetown: Shirley Dean Cannon Wilson, 63, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Wilson was born in Conway on February 27, 1950, a daughter of Arthurleen Hardwick Alford and the late Earl Samuel Cannon. She grew up in Georgetown and attended Georgetown County Schools. Mrs. Wilson was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Surviving are: her husband, John "Butch" Harvey Wilson, Jr. of Georgetown; three sons, Christopher Ackerman of Chester, and John Kelly Wilson and John William Earl Wilson, both of Georgetown; her mother and step-father, Arthurleen and Cole Alford of Georgetown; two brothers, Jimmy Earl Cannon and Windell Cannon; and two grandchildren, Asia Ackerman and Amber Yarborough.
