Wilmington:

Sidney "Budd" Thomas Jr., 67, of Riegelwood, NC, died Monday, August 29, 2022 at Lower Cape Fear Life Care.

He was born in Georgetown, SC, on October 2, 1954, the son of the late Sidney B. Thomas and Eleanor Thomas.

Surviving is his wife, Wilhelmina "Willie" Thomas; two sisters, Terry Ackerman and Faye Picarella; four stepchildren and numerous other extended family.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, September 2, 2022 at Andrews Mortuary Market Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 PM.

Graveside Services will be ten o'clock Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Sampit United Methodist Church Cemetery.
