Georgetown:

Solomon Joseph Leday, Jr. 45, husband of Crystal E. Leday, died Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Leday was born in Opelousas, LA on June 28, 1977, a son of Karen Gugneaux Leday Norman and the late Solomon Joseph Leday, Sr.

Mr. Leday grew up in Lawtell, LA and later moved to Georgetown where he attended Georgetown High School. His many loves included, drawing, dancing, and his favorite music was Jazz, Pop and Zydeco, He had a flare for clothes, Solomon was a very stylish dresser. His most wonderful times were spending time with his family having meals together.

In addition to his father, Mr. Leday was predeceased by: a brother, Danny Leday; and a sister, Shanta Leday.

Surviving are: his wife of Georgetown, his mother of New Iberia, LA, two sons, Cameron Leday and Christian Leday both of Georgetown; two brothers, Brian Leday of Louisiana, and Ted Leday of Georgetown; one sister, Halayna Staats (Joe) of Louisiana, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be eleven o'clock, Thursday December 15, 2022, at Andrews Church of God. Officiating will be the Rev. Joe Lambert.
