Andrews: Tammy Lynn Gailey Jones, 55, died Saturday, May 2, 2020, at her residence. Mrs. Jones was born in Georgetown on April 24, 1965, a daughter of the late Thomas "Tommy" Dallas Gailey and Lilly Christine Hartley Gailey. She grew up in Jamestown and graduated from Macedonia High School and attended Horry/Georgetown Technical College. Mrs. Jones was a very caring person and had great work ethics and believed in doing a job well. Tammy was very involved in helping people and took a great interest in the Shriners local projects; you could always count on her. She was not only a great mother, sister and grandmother she was also referred to by many others as "Mom". Tammy has a great love for the parks and the beach. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was predeceased by: a son, Jonathan Matter, II. Surviving are: a son, Travis Jones (Lori Leugers) of Georgetown; a brother, Dallas Gailey (Brenda) of Jamestown; a sister, Teresa Davis (David "Monkey") of Andrews; a special friend, Bob Barwick of Honey Hill; three grandchildren, Blakeley Paige McConnell, Madilyn Emma Matter and Aubrey Lynette Jones and a special great-nephew, Hartley James Davis. A Celebration of life and family visitation for Tammy will be held Thursday, May 7, 2020, at the Steel Shed, 116 Steel Shed Lane (off French Santee Rd), Jamestown, from five until seven o'clock In lieu of flowers, memorials would be gratefully appreciated and may be made in Tammy Jones honor to: Tammy Jones Memorials, P.O.
