Georgetown:
Ted Owen Barrineau, 59, died Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at his residence.
Mr. Barrineau was born in Horry Co. on April 6, 1947, a son of the late Wade Hampton Barrineau, Jr. and Sue Owens Barrineau. Mr. Barrineau grew up in Georgetown and graduated from Winyah High School. He was a wildlife technician and worked with S.C. Electric and Gas Co.'s Ramsey Grove Plantation and was a former employee of the S. C. Wildlife and Marine Resources Dept. Mr. Barrineau was a member of Herbert Memorial United Methodist Church. He was a past member of the Philip Simmons Artist-Blacksmith Guild of S.C. Mr. Barrineau enjoyed making 18th Century furniture and scuba diving for artifacts.
Surviving are: his wife, Brenda Holt Barrineau of Georgetown; two daughters, Samantha B. Bell and Holly B. Lee, both of Georgetown; a brother, Wade Hampton "Barry" Barrineau, III of Isle of Palms; four grandchildren, Ellen Fogel, Thomas Fogel, Hampton Lee, and Wyatt Lee, all of Georgetown; a number of nieces and nephews; and his beloved pet, Baby.
Memorial services will be four o'clock Friday afternoon, April 28, 2006, at Herbert Memorial United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Michael Leonhardt.
