Georgetown: Ted Weldon Morris, 80, widower of Nina Mills Morris, died Sunday, December 11, 2016, at his residence. Mr. Morris was born in Georgetown on September 5, 1936, a son of the late Alvie Gleaton Morris and Ellen Louise McElveen. He grew up in Georgetown County and lived most of his life there. He was a retired employee of Young Brothers logging company and also retired after twenty-three years of service in the S.C. Army National Guard. Mr. Morris was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Surviving are: two daughters, Grace M. Cordial (Noel) of Beaufort and Sara M. Jordan (Steve) of Andrews; six grandchildren, Aimee Jordan and Staci Jordan, both of Andrews, Maura Cordial of Sydney, Australia, Lt. Brendan Cordial (Sarah), USN, of Bowie, Maryland, Kate C.
