Georgetown:
Ted Weldon Morris, 80, widower of Nina Mills Morris, died Sunday, December 11, 2016, at his residence.
Mr. Morris was born in Georgetown on September 5, 1936, a son of the late Alvie Gleaton Morris and Ellen Louise McElveen. He grew up in Georgetown County and lived most of his life there. He was a retired employee of Young Brothers logging company and also retired after twenty-three years of service in the S.C. Army National Guard. Mr. Morris was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
Surviving are: two daughters, Grace M. Cordial (Noel) of Beaufort and Sara M. Jordan (Steve) of Andrews; six grandchildren, Aimee Jordan and Staci Jordan, both of Andrews, Maura Cordial of Sydney, Australia, Lt. Brendan Cordial (Sarah), USN, of Bowie, Maryland, Kate C. Whitehead (Ben) of Alexandria, Virginia, and Ciaran Cordial of Beaufort; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday morning, December 15, 2016, at eleven o'clock in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Pastor Vickie Powell. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall on Wednesday evening, December 14, 2016, from five until seven o'clock.
