Andrews: Ted James Player, 82, died Friday, November 24, 2006, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mr. Player was born in Williamsburg Co. on June 1, 1924, a son of the late Georgia Player. He served in the Army during World War II. Mr. Player retired in 1986 from the Container Division of International Paper Co. He was a member of Piney Forest Baptist Church. Surviving are: his wife, Lucille Cox Player of Andrews; a son, Ron Player and his wife Mary of Branson, Mo.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be three o'clock Sunday afternoon, November 26, 2006, at Piney Forest Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. James L. May. Burial will follow in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
