Andrews: Teresa Moore Cooper Byrd, 69, died Friday, November 17, 2017, at her residence. Ms. Byrd was born in Kingstree on January 25, 1948, a daughter of the late John Decatur "Pete" Moore, Sr. and Helen Goldie Wheeler Moore. She grew up in the Earle community of Williamsburg County and attended Williamsburg High School and graduated from Betty Stevens Cosmetology School. She worked for Moore Knits for over twenty years until retirement. Ms. Byrd was a member of Earle United Methodist Church and an active participant of the "Moore Coffee Club". In addition to her parents, Ms. Byrd was predeceased by: her first husband, Greg Cooper; and a brother, Gregg Moore. Surviving are: a son, Gregory Travis Cooper (Chasity) of Andrews; a daughter, Lindsay Byrd McClam (Brian) of Kingstree; six brothers, John D. Moore , Jr. (Judy), Jimmy Moore, Tim Moore (Mary Lou), Tony Moore (Isabelle), Michael Moore (Gail) and Jeff Moore; two sisters, Patricia Rodgerson and Debbie Cox (Roger); eight grandchildren, Dustin Wilson, Madison Blakely, Kali Cooper, Savana Cooper, Ed McClam, Carson Watson, Olivia McClam, and Lola McClam; and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral Services will be at two o'clock Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Earl United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Arthur Vick and Rev. Tommy Cox. The family will receive friends directly following the burial at the Moore Family Home, 649 Country Club Road, Andrews, SC 29510.
