Andrews: Thelma Juanita Lambert Morris, 78, died Thursday, October 10, 2013, at Prince George Healthcare Center in Georgetown. Mrs. Morris was born in Georgetown on August 16, 1935, a daughter of the late Freeman Lambert and Violet Johnson Lambert. She grew up in the Georgetown area and was a life-long resident of Andrews. Mrs. Morris enjoyed bingo and attending yard sales. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Morris was predeceased by: a brother, Thurmond Lambert; and two sisters, Lillian Gainey and Ruby Galloway. Surviving are: her husband, John Allen Morris of Andrews; three sons, Clinton Dale Carter of Largo, Fla., Roger Allen Carter of Mayberry, Fla., and John Michael Morris of Conway; three daughters, Stacy Lee Morris of Florence, Amy Renee Morris of Andrews, and Angela Gail Morris of Charleston; a sister, Corrie Mae Elliott of Georgetown; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at two o'clock on Sunday afternoon, October 13, 2013, at Andrews Memorial Cemetery. Officiating will be Earmon "Pete" Howard.
