Theron Martin "Jody" Boynt, II, 31, died following a boating accident on Sunday, February 6, 2005.
Mr. Boynt was born in Georgetown on July 5, 1973, a son of Alice Neely Boynt Seward and the late William A. Boynt. He grew up and attended school in Michigan, Florida, and locally. Jody was a die-hard "Southern Boy", Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan, hunter, and fisherman. He was a top electrician for Electric Services of S. C.
Survivors include: his mother of Westland, Mich.; a sister, Jerri Britt of Conway; an aunt, Martha Neely Boismier of Conway; friends, Jesse and Cindy Goff of Aynor; and a number of aunt, uncles, and cousins.
Mr. Boynt was predeceased by: maternal grandparents, Lee Neely and Mae Bell Neely Lambert; paternal grandparents, William and Elizabeth Boynt; and an uncle, Jerry Lee Neely.
Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Monday morning, February 14, 2005 at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. John P. Watts and Tammy Holmes. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens in Georgetown.
