Pawley's Island: Thomas "Tonnie" A. Allen, Jr., 47, died Thursday, October 4, 2007, at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Mr. Allen was born in Charlotte, N. C. on January 31, 1960, a son of Thomas Art Allen, Sr. and Brenda B. Brewer. He was raised and attended school in Charlotte. Mr. Allen spent most of his life in Charlotte and moved to Pawleys Island three years ago. Surviving are: his Mother of Pawleys Island; his Father of Clearwater, Fla.; two brothers, Carl Francis Brewer, Jr. of Charlotte and James Glenn Brewer of Fair Hope, Al. He was predeceased by his Step-Father, Carl Francis Brewer, Sr. Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon, October 6, 2007, at two o'clock in the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Don Williams. Burial will be Sunday afternoon, October 7, 2007, at two o'clock in Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte, N. C. Sign a guest book at www.mayerfuneralhome.com.
