Georgetown:
Thomas "Tommy" Jackson Lambert, Jr., 70, died Friday, June 10, 2016 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Lambert was born in Georgetown on October 08, 1945, a son of the late Thomas Jackson "T.J." Lambert and Ethel Mae Hartley Lambert. He lived all his life in Georgetown County and served in the U.S. Army in Viet Nam. Mr. Lambert worked at the Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store in Georgetown for many years and also worked at a number of other businesses in the community. He attended the Church of God and loved hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lambert was predeceased by: a daughter-in-law, Amanda Malone Lambert; a brother, David Lambert; and a sister, Betty Rogers.
Surviving are: his wife, Jackie Mew Lambert of Georgetown; three sons, Timothy Lambert (Kelly), Daniel Lambert, and T. J. Lambert, III (Elizabeth), all of Georgetown; and a daughter, Robin Lambert of Georgetown; a brother, John Lambert (Ruth) of Andrews; two sisters, Brenda Flagel (Michael) of Florence; and Carolyn Radcliffe (Bobby) of Georgetown; sixteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be two o'clock Monday afternoon, June 13, 2016, at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Terry L. Wilkerson. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the services on Monday in the mausoleum chapel from one until two.
