Pawley Island:
Thomas E. Latstetter, 85, passed away August 5, 2013, at Tidelands Community Hospice in Georgetown.
Born in Clarksburg, W. VA., he was the son of the late Thomas Eugene Latstetter and Virginia Morgan Latstetter McClure.
Thomas attended Penn State University and graduated from Fairmont State College. He retired from U.S. Steel management in Pittsburgh, Pa., after 35 years. At the very end of WWII, Tom, as a seventeen year old, served on a destroyer in the U.S. Navy.
Thomas is survived by: his wife, Patricia Nuzum Latstetter, three children, Deborah L. Klett (David), Jeffrey T. Latstetter (Judy) and Anne Christine Latstetter Butler; three grandchildren, Gary Klett (Nancy), Jeffery Butler, and Colin Butler; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert M. McClure; and a sister, Anna McClure Hall.
A memorial service will be held at Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church on Friday, August 9, 2013, at one o'clock in the afternoon.
