IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas Elrod "Tommy"
Lee
July 21, 1956 – June 11, 2025
Thomas Elrod "Tommy" Lee, 68, beloved husband of Mary Isaac Lee, passed away peacefully after a long battle with Frontotemporal Dementia, on June 11, 2025, at The Landings of Georgetown.
Born July 21, 1956, in Thomson, Georgia, he was the son of the late Joseph Earle Lee, Sr. and Mary Spears Elrod Lee. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Joseph Lee, Jr., his mother-in-law Gerrie Isaac and brother-in-law Franc Isaac.
Tommy attended Clemson University and graduated from HGTC with a degree in Golf Course Technology. He worked for many years in the golf course and irrigation industry.
Tommy had a deep love for children, especially his nieces and nephews, whom he adored. He was also a tinkerer at heart, always happiest when fixing something, taking things apart, or figuring out how they worked. He cherished the beauty of nature and took great joy in creating that beauty in his own yard, tending to it with care and pride.
He is survived by his wife of Georgetown. His sisters Peggy Wolff (Don) and Mary Ann Geney (David) both of Pawleys Island, brother Jim Lee of Greenville, sisters-in-law Manning Lee, Karen Standish, Beth Holcombe (Jimmy), Sarah Garner; brothers-in-law, Rory Isaac (Kim), Kevin Isaac (Marie), Ros Isaac and numerous nieces and nephews.
We wish to thank family and friends for their unfailing love and support on this journey. We thank Tommy's special caregivers of the past four years, Ronnahria Smith and Phillipa McCray. We also want to thank the numerous caregivers at The Landings of Georgetown for their special care.
