Thomas Monroe "Woe" Moore, Jr., 75, widower of Mary Kabas Moore, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Roper Hospital in Charleston.
Mr. Moore was born in Andrews on January 24, 1941, a son of the late Thomas Monroe Moore and Adril Player Moore. He grew up in Andrews and was a graduated from high school there. Mr. Moore served in the S. C. Army National Guard and was a retired machinist with Detyens Shipyard. He had a great love of animals, gardening, and life.
Surviving are: a son, Thomas G. Moore (Gloria) of Scranton, Pa.; a daughter, Elaine M. Day of Surgoinsville, Tenn.; a step-son, Paul H. Duncan, III (Jeanette) of Georgetown; a step-daughter, Donna D. Scott (Larry Garner) of McClellanville; seven grandchildren including, George Francis Scott (Katie) of McClellanville; and a number of great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Friday morning, March 25, 2016, at New Wappetaw Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in Five Fathom Baptist Church Memorial Gardens.
