Pawleys Island: Thomas Clinton Myers, 82, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at his residence. Mr. Myers was born to the late Irene McCall Myers and Mac Myers in Hartwell County, Georgia on June 23, 1934. He graduated from W.L.T. High School. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. After attending Cecil Business College, he met and married Julia Elizabeth Ward of Georgetown, SC. Thomas retired from Southern Railway after a 35 year career, and became Mr. Fix It in the Bird's Nest Area of Pawley's Island, SC. He was a Shriner and a Kentucky Colonel. He is survived by: his wife of 59 years; his daughter, Dianne O'Neill (Patrick); his son, Tom Myers (Vickie); his grandchildren, David Christopher Miller (Debbie), Casey O'Neill-Newsom (Ryan), Michelle Stegall (Rand), and Tommy Myers (Marley); and great-grandchildren Harper and Baker. Funeral services will be eleven o'clock Saturday morning, November 26, 2016, at the graveside in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens in Georgetown. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Dora Gafford.
