Thomas Marvin Slagsvol

Thomas Marvin "Tom" Slagsvol, 76, passed away Monday, August 10, 2026, in his home. Born in Columbia, SC, he was a son of Thomas and Sally (Norvell) Slagsvol.

Tom loved the Beach. He enjoyed boating and fishing. He loved to walk and play computer games. Tom was a Military Police officer stationed in Vietnam. He graduated from the University of South Carolina, Columbia. He was self-employed as a mystery shopper.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Sally Slagsvol.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer McElveen Slagsvol; stepson, Clint Huggins; his siblings, Jane, Bill, Whit, Rick; and several beloved nieces and nephews. His special friends were Tony and Jan Shelton, Dannice and Nicole McKenzie.

The family would like to thank Home Instead Hospice of Georgetown for their care for Tom.

Memorials may be made to St. Francis Humane Society in memory of Tom.
