Andrews:
Tommie Ann Mercer Tisdale, 73, widow of Lloyd Gilbert Tisdale, died Friday, July 14, 2017.
Mrs. Tisdale was born in Georgetown County on November 6, 1943, a daughter of the late Rev. Thomas Durant Mercer and Lois Jeanette Blakely Mercer. She retired from the Georgetown County School District Andrews Elementary School Cafeteria. Mrs. Tisdale was a long-time member of Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Willing Workers Sunday School class for over seventy years. Her lifelong hobbies included cooking, baking, and working in her yard. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a good friend to many. She never met a stranger and loved talking with people wherever she went.
Surviving are: two daughters, Beth Tisdale Suggs (Greg) of Conway and Pam Tisdale Bruorton (Billy) of Andrews; a son, Gil Tisdale of James Island; two sisters, Judy M. Cooper of Salters and Wanda M. Ray of Andrews; a brother, Blakely Mercer of Summerville; four grandchildren, Will and Emily Bruorton and Thomas and Austin Suggs; and a special aunt Joyce McCrea of Salters.

Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon, July 16, 2017, at four o'clock in Andrews First Pentecostal Church. Officiating will be Pastor Dean Baber and Pastor Paul Miles. Burial will follow in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening, July 15, 2017, from five until eight o'clock at Andrews First Pentecostal Church.
