Georgetown: Tracey Suzanne Wakeland, 52, passed away unexpectedly the weekend of May 15, 2021. Ms. Wakeland spent the first part of her life in Georgetown, the middle part in Columbus, OH and the last part in Georgetown, She is predeceased by: her husband, Randy Wakeland, an Air Force Veteran, who she met and married in Columbus. She is survived by: a son, Pearce Wakeland, her faithful companion and dog, Sadie Mae, her mother, Frances Altman Green and Gregory Green, her father, Edward Russ and his wife Linda; a sister, Kelley Russ Mullins and her husband Randy Mullins; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held for family members, Saturday, May 22, 2021, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home at one o'clock p.m. Tracey was a huge Clemson football fan and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clemson Athletic Fund (IPTAY), P.O.
