Pawleys Island:
Vera McDaniel Wrobel, 91, died Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at Regency Hospital of Florence.
Mrs. Wrobel was born in the Indiantown community of Williamsburg Co. on February 4, 1916, a daughter of the late Perry Durant McDaniel and Annie Rogers McDaniel. She grew up in the Prospect community of Florence Co. and attended the schools there. Mrs. Wrobel lived in Charleston prior to her marriage to the late Edward Mitchell Wrobel. She lived in a number of places including Natchez, Miss., Jay, Maine, and Bastrop, La. prior to moving to Pawleys Island. Mrs. Wrobel worked for a time as a seamstress. She was a member of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church.
Surviving are: a son, Darrell E. Wrobel of McGehee, Ark.; two daughters, Jo. Ann W. Ellingwood of Tampa, Fla. and Barbara J. Wrobel of Jay, Me.; four sisters, Wilma Prosser and Ruby Chandler, both of Johnsonville, Everett Eaddy of Columbia, and Elsie Fuller of Garner, N. C.; nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be ten o'clock Monday morning, October 1, 2007, at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Patrick J. Stenson. Burial will follow at 2:30 o'clock in The Garden of Devotion in Johnsonville.

The family will receive friends at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home Sunday evening, September 30, 2007, from six until eight with a Wake Service at six-thirty.
