Georgetown:
Virginia "Gin" Pinner Hearl, 94, widow of Richard E. Hearl, died Friday, March 11, 2016, at Prince George Healthcare Center.
Mrs. Hearl was born in Bucksport on April 21, 1921, a daughter of the late Joseph Benjamin Pinner and Alice Louise Edge Pinner. She was a homemaker and worked in retail for a number of years. Mrs. Hearl was a member of the Georgetown Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the Leila Ford Sunday School Class, a recipient of the Honorary Life Member of the Georgetown Presbyterian Church Women and served on the Kitchen Ministry for over 25 years.
Mrs. Hearl was an avid cook and seamstress and was known for her pound cake and banana pudding.
Mrs. Hearl was predeceased her husband and parents, two sons-in-law, Louis Parsons and Delbert Floyd, three brothers, Vernon Pinner, J. B. Pinner, and James Pinner; and three sisters, Lucille Rich, Mildred, Missroon, and Betty Moore.
Surviving are: four daughters, Sylvia H. Parsons, Linda H. Floyd, and Beth H. Duke (Thomas), all of Georgetown and Peggy H. Camlin (Glen) of Columbia; thirteen grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Allene Thomas and Ruth Pinner; and a brother-in-law, Alvin Moore.
Funeral services will be Monday afternoon, March 14, 2016, at two o'clock in the Georgetown Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Stephen H. Wilkins and the Rev. Dr. William H. Puckett, Jr. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at a reception from twelve thirty until two o'clock prior to the service in the Georgetown Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.
