Andrews:
Virginia Richbourg Langley, 86, died Thursday, April 28, 2005, at NHC Healthcare of Sumter.
Mrs. Langley was born on June 27, 1918, a daughter of the late George Richbourg
and Catherine Alsbrooks Richbourg. She grew up in Clarendon County and graduated from high school there. Mrs. Langley lived in Andrews most of her life and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Daisy Watson Church School Class and the Esther-Elizabeth Circle of the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Langley was the widow of Luther Van Langley, Jr.
Surviving are: a son, Luther Langley and his wife Brenda of Columbia; a brother, G. O. Richbourg of Sumter; two sisters, Doris Shelly of Leesburg, Fla., and Helen Lea of Manning; three grandchildren, Tracy Blakeley of Andrews, Tanya Perrow and Tara Knowlin, both of Georgetown; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be three o'clock Sunday afternoon, May 1, 2005, at Trinity United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Steven M. Todd. Burial will follow in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
