Cottageville: W. W. "Bubba" Wilson, 76, died Saturday, October 26, 2013, in Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro. Mr. Wilson was born in Georgetown on May 8, 1937, a son of the late Archie Lee Wilson and Kathleen Ackerman Wilson. He served in the U. S. Army Reserve and the U. S. Air Force. Mr. Wilson was a former employee of United Insurance, Sunshine Auto Sales, and A. R. Skipper, Inc. He was a member of Maple Baptist Church. Surviving are: his wife of 40 years, Vera Skipper Wilson of Cottageville; three sons, Michael E. Wilson of Walterboro, Timothy E. Skipper (Nikki) and Anthony R. Skipper (Kelle) both of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Billy D. Wilson of Georgetown and Leroy L. Wilson of Augusta, Ga.; a sister, Lula Sims of Candler, N. C.; ten grandchildren and five great-grandsons. Funeral services will be Tuesday morning, October 29, 2013 at eleven o'clock in the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. David Anderson.
