Shelby, NC: Wanda Loraine Littrell Franklin, 50, wife of Tony Lee Franklin, Sr., died June 11, 2017, at Carolina Healthcare Systems, Shelby, NC. Mrs. Franklin was born in Montgomery, MD, March 18, 1967, a daughter of the late Johnny Littrell and Mable Holmes Littrell. She grew up in Maryland and moved to several different cities to include Georgetown. Mrs. Franklin was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her husband of Elkton, VA, she is survived by: two daughter, Kimberly Austin of Georgetown and Tammy Littrell of Shelby, NC; two sons, John Littrell of Myrtle Beach and Brian Austin, Jr. of Georgia; a stepson, Tony Lee Franklin, Jr. of Dallas, TX; six grandchildren, Destini, Anthony, Faith, Andrew, "Little Paul" and Bailey; one great-grandson, Gabriel; a step-granddaughter, Emory; five brothers, Johnny Littrell, Everette Outen (Debbie), Lawerence Outen (Michelle), Stevie Outen (Connie) all of Maryland, and Bobby Outen (Paula) of Ohio; one sister, Pam Shipe of Maryland; and a brother-in-law, Lawrence Pickett. Mrs. Franklin was predeceased by a sister, Debbie Pickett. Funeral Services will be at two o'clock Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
