Andrews: Wayne Edward Parsons, 62, husband of Linda Gallegos Parsons, died Sunday, October 13, 2019, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mr. Parsons was born in Hemingway on September 9, 1957, a son of the late William Albert Parsons and Rosa Corinne Barnes Parsons. He grew up in Andrews and graduated from Williamsburg High School in 1978. Mr. Parsons loved fishing, horses, motorcycles and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. Wayne and Linda were married for forty-one plus years. Surviving are: his wife of Andrews; a son, Phillip Wayne Parsons of Andrews; a daughter, Crystal Dawn Parsons Griffith (Jonathan) of Andrews; two grandchildren, William Ethan Parsons and Rebecca Lynn Griffith; a brother, Albert Ronald Parsons of Johnsonville; two sisters, Patsy Parsons Morris (Jimmy) of Johnsonville and Catherine Parsons Cotton (Charles) of Hemingway; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be two o'clock Thursday afternoon, October 17, 2019, in Victory Free Will Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service Thursday afternoon from one until two o'clock in the Church sanctuary. The family suggests memorials to: Tara Hall School, P.O.
